For his victory, Adekoya was awarded the tournament’s prestigious winner’s trophy, along with an LG Washing Machine (20/12kg Wash and Dry) and an Omron M1 Blood Pressure Monitor. Expressing his joy, Adekoya commended the DOAM Foundation’s efforts in supporting the less privileged, stating, “I feel so happy to have won at this time and fully identify with the achievements of the DOAM Foundation. It is good to be a part of the sponsors and know that funds are judiciously used in empowering the Foundation to do charitable works.”

In the Ladies’ category, Ifeoma Obata claimed victory with a 73 nett score, narrowly beating Ify Onukwuba on count-back. Lynda Obieze also finished with a 73 nett score to secure the second runner-up position. Obata’s triumph earned her the Ladies’ Winner’s trophy, a two-night weekend stay at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, and an Omron Digital Weighing Scale.

Among other standout performances, Remi Olukoya shot a 74 to win the best gross prize, outplaying Tim Maguire and Afe Joachim, who finished second and third, respectively. The 14th edition of the DOAMF Charity Golf Tournament saw a strong turnout, with 171 players participating in the event, underscoring the widespread support for the foundation’s mission. The tournament, backed by corporate and individual sponsors, concluded with a cocktail party and prize-giving ceremony, where sponsors and golfers engaged while the DOAM Foundation highlighted its charitable initiatives.

Since its inception, the DOAMF Charity Golf Tournament has served as a platform to raise funds for initiatives benefiting underprivileged individuals, particularly in education and healthcare. This year’s edition reinforced the foundation’s commitment to making a lasting social impact through sports and philanthropy.
