Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau Jibrin, and the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Senator Abubakar Kyari, have hailed the empowerment initiative of Senator Saliu Mustapha, describing it as aligned with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s agriculture and food security agenda.

The programme, tagged “Alubarika 1.0 Agricultural and Human Capital Development Empowerment Programme,” saw Senator Mustapha (APC, Kwara Central) distribute empowerment tools and materials to over 2,500 constituents in Ilorin.

Held at the Lower Niger River Basin Development Authority’s premises in Kwara State, the event also witnessed the donation of 200 sewing machines by Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin for onward distribution to Kwara Central constituents.
