The World Customs Organisation (WCO) has commended SIFAX Group a “Certificate of Merit” at this year’s International Customs Day celebration in Abuja, Nigeria, themed “Customs Delivering on its Commitment to Efficiency, Security, and Prosperity.”SIFAX Group is one of the few organisations recognized from Nigeria by WCO at the event.

The WCO is an intergovernmental organisation headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, working on customs-related matters including the development of international conventions, instruments, and tools.

The award was presented by the Chief of Defence of Staff, General Christopher Musa.

According to the WCO Secretary General, Ian Saunders, the honour was bestowed on the company “for rendering exceptional service to the international Customs community.”
