Organisers of the African Military Games held at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja, have commended U.S.-based pharmaceutical startup, ViaDerma, for its significant impact at the event, which saw participation from 44 countries and over 2,000 athletes competing in 19 different sports including archery, athletics, badminton, soccer/football, and karate.

The African Military Games aims to strengthen military solidarity, promote cultural diversity, and foster unity among African nations.

Speaking on the success of the Abuja edition of the Games, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Air Vice Marshal Abidemi Marquis, expressed appreciation to ViaDerma for supporting the games.
“ViaDerma was an invaluable sponsor and made significant contributions to the success of the event,” he said.

Also speaking on the Games, CEO of ViaDerma, Christopher Otiko, expressed his enthusiasm about the company’s involvement. “Being part of the African Military Games is a great honour and an excellent platform for us to demonstrate the effectiveness of Tetracyte, our flagship wound-healing drug.”
