The GTCO/NPA Lagos International Polo Tournament came to a thrilling end at the weekend with Lagos, Abuja, and Kaduna teams stealing the show.

Sunday’s grand finale was a befitting climax to three weeks of engrossing and exciting polo experience at the foremost Ribadu Polo Ground in Ikoyi.

Lagos MSD BabyBear, co-sponsored by Mayowa Ogunusi and Mohammed Sani Dangote, put the hosts firmly on top with three major prizes, the Low Cup, Silver Cup, and the Chief of Naval Staff Cup.

The Seyi Tinubu-powered Lagos STL team had earlier in the second week opened the door to Lagos dominance with a double honour, clinching the Oba of Lagos Cup and the event’s second most coveted prize, the Chapel Hill Denham Open Cup.
