Cadbury Nigeria Plc has celebrated its 60th anniversary, reaffirming its commitment to value creation and sustainable growth in the country.

According to a statement, the company’s former chairman, Christopher Kolade, in a recent lecture held in Lagos to commemorate the milestone, underscored the importance of core business principles in an evolving landscape.

Kolade stressed that leadership must adapt to changing contexts. He emphasised the need to prioritise human capital over status, citing his personal experience at Cadbury Nigeria as an example of how people should always come first in business.

“The company’s commitment to sustainable growth is evident in its people-centric approach, ensuring that human capital remains integral to its long-term success,” he said.

According to the company, looking ahead, it aims to focus on innovation, quality, and profitability while maintaining its people-first philosophy.

Cadbury Nigeria Plc, a subsidiary of global snacking firm Mondelez International, specialises in confectionery and beverages, producing brands such as Bournvita, Tom Tom, Ahomka Ginger, Hacks, and Buttermint.
