Nollywood actress Chizzy Alichi has called out social media users who often pray for her to conceive whenever she congratulates her pregnant colleagues.

Taking to her Instagram story, the actress expressed frustration over such comments, describing them as annoying.

She revealed that this was one of the reasons she rarely comments on or posts congratulatory messages when her colleagues welcome a baby.

Alichi questioned why people assumed she wanted to be pregnant and whether they knew anything about her personal life or that of her husband.

“One of the reasons I hardly comment/post or congratulate my colleagues/anybody on my page when they welcome a baby. These comments are so annoying. Jesus! ‘You are next’—I don’t understand; did I complain to you? Are you in my family? Do you know what our issues are?” she wrote.

Her outburst followed her congratulatory message to fellow actress Chika Ike, who recently announced her pregnancy.
