It is going to be emotional moment in Aba, Abia State, this weekend, as Coach Finidi George returns with his Port Harcourt-based side, Rivers United to face Enyimba in the city where he started his Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) journey as a coach.

On the other hand, the current handler of Enyimba, the longest serving coach in the NPFL with Rivers United, Stanley Eguma, will be facing his former team (Rivers United) after leaving them last season.

The two sides have been struggling this season and will be all out for the full points at the Aba Township Stadium this Sunday.

After losing their unbeaten run against Kwara United during the week, Shooting Stars FC of Ibadan will hope to stop a back-to-back defeat, as they travel to Owerri for a clash against Heartland FC.

It will be battle of supremacy between Rangers and Remo Stars in Enugu with the defending champion, Rangers, facing Remo Stars who are currently leading the pack for the title. Remo Stars are eight points clear at table.

In Ikenne, it is going to be a relegation battle as Sunshine Stars play host to Akwa United. Both teams are fighting hard to escape the drop. Sitting 17 and 18 position on the table with just a point separating the two, they will do their best to get the maximum points so as to enhance their chances of maintaining their top flight status . Both have won just a game in the last five matches and with season already in week 24, every point means a lot for both side.

This Saturday, Kano Pillars will play host to Abia Warriors, just as Kwara United, who are basking in the euphoria of their win against Shooting Stars, will have another home game against Bayelsa United.

Ikorodu City will be hoping to revenge their home defeat when they face Nasarawa United in Lagos, while Lobi Stars will hope to despatch Katsina United as they continue their quest to stay away from the relegation zone.

Also this Saturday, Plateau United and Bendel Insurance will host El-Kanemi Warriors and Niger Tornadoes respectively
