Nigerian artist and content producer, Lawal Michael Nasiru Bolaji, popularly known as Nasboi who has advised Nigerians to avoid defining marriage by looking at celebrity marriages.

The revelation was made by the creator of the sketch in the midst of strong reactions to musician 2Baba’s recent declaration that he and his wife, Annie, are divorcing.

He wrote on X, “One celebrity divorce, and you start saying this thing called marriage isn’t for you. But you forget about your parents, who’ve been married for over 30-something years. Stop using celebrity marriages to define marriage. If you don’t want to marry, that’s your business.”

When he is ready to settle down, Nasboi stated in another post that his marriage will remain private. In order to prevent strangers from posting their thoughts about his marriage online, he declared that he would not make it public.

He added, “I’ll hide my marriage when I’m ready. Nothing online, please, please! I don’t want some random child having opinions about my life.”

Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, meanwhile, asserted that it was long past time for Nigerian artist Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife Annie Idibia Macauley to divorce.

According to a post made by Doris on her Instagram story on Tuesday, Annie used “juju” to maintain her marriage to 2face. According to the movie star, Annie was not the victim as many people believed, emphasizing that 2Baba is the true victim in their tumultuous marriage.

In addition to calling on the singer’s family to save their brother, Doris Ogala expressed optimism that 2Baba and Annie will get back together. The actress added that 2Baba’s musical career failed because he has been bottled up for so long and that the women who are backing Annie are witches.
