United States of America Federal Bureau of Intelligence Director, Kash Patel has reacted to the arrest of Judge Hannah Dugan of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by his agency’s operatives on Friday.

The FBI boss disclosed this in a terse statement on his official X account Friday, noting that nobody is above the law in the US.

His comments come as FBI agents arrested Judge Dugan for obstructing an immigration arrest operation by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) last week.

The arrest had attracted outrage from Wisconsin’s governor, Tony Evers, who is a Democrat.

Evers, in his outburst, alleged that Trump’s administration is using “dangerous rhetoric to attack and attempt to undermine our judiciary at every level.

However, in reaction, FBI boss Patel said, “No one is above the law,” he wrote on X.

In an earlier post on X Friday, Petel said, “We believe Judge Dugan intentionally misdirected federal agents away from the subject to be arrested in her courthouse, Eduardo Flores Ruiz, allowing the subject — an illegal alien — to evade arrest.”

Petel, who is deputised by Dan Bongino, wrote on his X account Friday, “Public corruption is a stain on our Republic.”

DAILY POST recalls Patel’s appointment by Trump was confirmed by a narrow 50-49 vote at the Senate on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

In another development, the FBI announced the arrest of 22 Nigerians accused of orchestrating a series of sextortion schemes in the US.
