Social media was abuzz on Monday with netizens lashing out at YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, content creator Apurva Mukhija, aka TheRebelKid, and comedian Samay Raina for their vulgar and disgusting statements on the latter’s comedy show India’s Got Latent. After much backlash from the netizens and action being taken against them, singer B Praak has now condemned them and revealed that he has canceled his appearance on Ranveer’s podcast.
Taking to his official social media handle, B Praak called Ranveer’s statements “pathetic” and even urged other comedians to “save Indian culture.” Taking to his Instagram account, the musician shared that he has decided to pull out of the podcast because of the content creator’s “pathetic thinking” and the words he used. He added, “Samay Raina ke show pe jo ho raha hai, yeh hamara Indian culture nahi hai. This is not our culture at all.”

Quoted by the Free Press Journal, the 39-year-old musician went on to criticize Ranveer and said, “Aap apne parents ki kaunsi stories bata rahe ho? Is this comedy? This is not at all comedy! Logon ko gaaliyan dena, logon ko gaaliyan sikhana—yeh kaunsi generation hai? I don't understand what is this!” He slammed BeerBiceps and expressed how despite promoting “Sanatan Dharma and spirituality” and interviewing many big celebrities for his podcast, “fir bhi aapki soch itni ghatiya hai?”
