Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are juggling life with four kids, and sometimes, keeping track of everyone’s ages can get a little tricky.

In a recent text message exchange with Legend, Teigen asked how old their son Miles is.

The “All of Me,” singer replied, “Haha 6.”

Teigen responded, that she thought that, “… he might be 7,” adding, “too many kids.”

Teigen and Legend share four children: daughters, Luna Simone, 8, and Esti Maxine, 22 months, along with sons Miles Theodore, 6, and Wren Alexander, 16 months.

The duo are truly involved parents when it comes to everything from helping to manage and advocate for childhood diabetes, to sharing how they use technology as a parenting resource, to ensuring that their children embody an altruistic and grateful spirit.

In a previous interview with Parents, Legend told the outlet that in order to get a new toy, his eldest children have to give a toy away.

“We, in fact, require them to give away some toys whenever we get them new toys,” the 46-year-old said. “We try to put that in practice with them, so that they understand how blessed they are, but also that they have the opportunity to help other people, and they should use that opportunity.”

In another interview with People Magazine,, Chrissy revealed that the hardest part of raising so many young children is making sure the older kids still feel loved and special.

“For me, the hardest part is making sure the older ones feel loved and taken care of and just as special as the babies,” she said. “There’s a lot of diaper changing and feeding and it seems like you’re coddling these two little babies and they’re not getting enough. I think any parent of multiple kids can understand that you want to make sure they still feel loved.”
