Super Eagles striker Umar Sadiq was in action as Valencia edged Leganes 2-0 in Sunday’s La Liga ga,e.

The Nigerian international, who was making his third appearances, has bagged one yellow yellow in the league for Valencia.

Sadiq came on as a substotute for Hugo Duro in the 59th minute and had a decent display.

The host took the lead in the 30th minute through Mosquera’s brilliant finish to the delight of the home supporters.

Diakhaby netted the second goal in the 41st minute to seal victory for Valencia.

The victory means Valencia sit 18th on 22 points while Leganessit 17th on 23 points in the league table.
